First day of the SiS workshop in Berlin and shortly after the group arrived at the “Alex” (Alexander Platz). Shot this scene out of walking while passing them. I liked how he was helping his girl.
Not an excuse for the bad composition and I would probably not post this. Have to cause of the sneaky detail though.

24th July 2011 - Berlin, Germany
Last day of the “Street is Serious” workshop and after our main event that day at the Mauerpark. I enjoyed the walk to the Mauerpark and back with all the guys (and gal!) more than shooting at the Mauerpark itself. Probably cause a flea market is not the kind territory I usually roam through.
The first thing I saw when this one was popping up was, of cource, the cliche scene. ;) Gotta say though that I like it in this one, really do. And then I saw Mr. Chris Weeks in this strange pose and his hilarious facial expression. And if I wouldn’t have been there I wouldn’t know that he was taking a shot shortly before. Quite possibly one that includes a dog.

Fries on a warm day at the flea market are great. Getting them served by a generous girl is even better. Would hope to get the ones from the top of the stack.

2nd day of the SiS workshop. Was focusing on the hooded guy in the back but out of nowhere this crowd popped up, the moment I shot. Was cursing first and had to wait a few seconds for my next try. The result sucked.
When we had our review later and saw this one on the big screen we knew this one wasn’t as botched as I thought before.
She seems to be in thoughts. Might also have a day dream. But it’s probably also just a lucky moment with the fitting facial expression.
Summer 2008 (i think) - Elbstrand Hamburg, Germany
Probably the worst scan of the most fucked up negative from a shitty lab developed film (at least some Ilford though) but I still like it.
Typical scene on sunny days at this place. People love having bbq sausage and champagne in the sun while container vessels are passing by.
Used to live a few metres down there on the left and will hopefully move there sometime in the future again, lovely place.
